I am from the South West of England and have a BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Design from De Montfort University. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked as a freelance Graphic Designer. Then, with a strong desire to return to the Fine Art studio, I pursued my PGCE in Secondary Art Education at the University of Chester.
Over the last 16 years, I have been extremely fortunate to work and head departments at a variety of prestigious international schools. I started my teaching career in Warrington, England and have since lived and taught in India, Tanzania, the UAE, Peru and Thailand.
My interests include travel, painting, photography, and going to the gym. However, my favourite activity is spending time with my wife and our 2-year-old son.
I aim to instill in my students a sense of curiosity, achievement, and the creative thinking habits they need for university and their daily lives.
I also want to use Visual Art to promote cultural awareness while simultaneously embracing and celebrating cultural diversity.
