Bio
I am originally from the United Kingdom and gained my BA (Hons) in Fine Art and Professional Practice at Blackpool and The Fylde College, before completing my PGCE at Edge Hill University. I have been teaching on and off since qualifying in 2010, teaching Art and Design as well as Design Technology. Oryx International School is my third school in Qatar, having previously taught at Qatar International School and Newton Lagoon. Before moving into education, I served in the Royal Air Force working on jet engines, and I have also worked as a serving police officer in my home town of Blackpool. I’m excited to be part of the Secondary team at Oryx, where I enjoy helping students build confidence, creativity, and ambition through art.

A fun fact about me is that I’m a proud geek — I collect and build LEGO and I’ve platinumed many games on my PS5.
