Bio
I am originally from Birmingham, UK and an English teacher with over a decade of experience teaching across the UK and the Middle East. This is now my sixth year teaching in Qatar. My experience includes teaching English Language and Literature in further education and across KS3, iGCSE, A Level, and IB, alongside pastoral leadership experience as a House Leader working with students across all secondary year groups.
Outside of school, I spent almost ten years volunteering with charitable organisations across the UK, experiences that shaped my passion for helping others and influenced my decision to become a teacher.
Fun fact
Away from the classroom, I am a huge football fan and lifelong Liverpool FC supporter. I spent many years watching matches at Anfield, something I still miss, and attended two Champions League finals in Kyiv and Madrid. I also fulfilled a lifelong dream by attending the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, including the final. Finally, and most importantly, I am the proud father of a beautiful three-year-old daughter who was born here in Qatar.
