Qualifications
I studied English Language at Swansea University before completing my PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. I am also due to complete the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in 2025.
Bio
I am originally from Solihull and my teaching and leadership experience spans both the UK and internationally. In the UAE, Abu Dhabi, I was Head of Primary Mathematics, and in the United Kingdom I held the role of Deputy Head Teacher of a Primary School. I am passionate about education and how technology can further enhance teaching and learning in an ever-evolving world. Having gained accreditations through working closely with organisations such as Google in the United Kingdom and Apple in the United States, I am committed to ensuring students and teachers alike benefit from innovative and meaningful use of digital tools.
In August 2025, I was delighted to join Oryx International School as Assistant Principal in Primary. I firmly believe that strong home–school partnerships are central to every child’s success, and I look forward to working closely with families to ensure students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I am excited to be part of such a forward-thinking community and to contribute to delivering a world-class education for every child.
Fun fact
I am joined in Doha by my wife and our young daughter, who is also incredibly excited to be joining the Oryx family. Outside of school, I enjoy sports including football, as well as exploring new cultures, cuisines, and experiences with my family.
