I am originally from County Tyrone in the North of Ireland.
I studied a BA Hons degree in Primary Teaching with PE specialism in St Mary’s University Belfast before completing my PGCE in London at St Mary’s College Twickenham.
After completing my studies, I began my teaching career in London, spending two years there before making the move to Qatar and spending five years teaching at an international school in KS1.
My Mum and Dad both live in my home village of Gortin in Tyrone. I have two brothers who both live abroad, one in Australia and one in London. I recently got married (July 2019) and my wife is also a teacher working in Qatar.
My main interests are sports, including football, golf and GAA which is the national sport of Ireland. We currently have a team in Qatar and compete in the Middle East Games. My other interests include travel, geography and computing.
My aim is to ensure that my students are enthusiastic and energetic by providing a vibrant and fun learning environment for the children!
