Bio
I am originally from the United Kingdom, which is where I gained my BA Hons in History at Manchester Metropolitan University. Upon graduating, I gained my PGCE with QTS from the University of Cumbria. I spent the first seven years of my career in the UK as a teacher of History and later subject lead for PSHE. Since 2018, I have worked in the Middle East, with 6 years spent as Head of History at a leading British International school in Abu Dhabi. Previous roles have included Head of History and whole school PSHE lead. I am now excited to be part of the team here in Oryx International School.
Fun fact
I grew up in the Lake District and was a championship Fell Runner at school.
