I hold a First Class BA Hons Degree in Fine Art from Leeds Beckett University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Huddersfield, and Qualified Teacher Status awarded by Kirklees and Calderdale SCITT.
Bio
Since beginning my teaching career in 2020, I have taught in both the UK and Qatar, with pedagogical responsibilities encompassing Art, Photography, and Graphic Design. My professional practice is underpinned by a commitment to high-quality subject delivery and comprehensive pastoral support, ensuring that all students are encouraged to realise their creative potential and gain confidence in their abilities.
Prior to entering the teaching profession, I gained diverse professional experience, including working as a high-ropes instructor in Canada, where I trained participants in technical climbing and safety protocols, and as a full-time photographer; engaging with clients such as Harvey Nichols and The North Face. These experiences have enriched my approach to education and reinforce my dedication to preparing young people with the skills and resilience required for success beyond the classroom.
