Qualifications
I graduated from the Faculty of Sharia at Damascus University in 2004 and obtained my master’s degree in Arabic literature from Eskisehir Osmangazi University in Turkey in 2019.
Bio
Over seven years of experience teaching Islamic Education in public secondary schools under the Ministry of Education in Aleppo, Syria; four years teaching Arabic at Eskisehir Osman Gazi University in Turkey; three years working with UNICEF in Lebanon in refugee education programs; and two years as an Arabic language teacher at Cambridge International Schools in Qatar.
Fun fact
I have a strong interest in reading both Arabic and world poetry, enjoy poetry recitation and public speaking, and have a published book on the Syrian poet Al-Buhturi.
