Bio
I am originally from Ireland, where I completed an Economics degree at the University of Ulster. I later moved to Liverpool to complete my Primary PGCE and gained valuable experience working in a special educational needs primary school before relocating to Qatar six years ago. Since then, I have worked in a number of schools across Qatar, including Newton and Sherborne, and have enjoyed taking on leadership roles such as Head of English and NQT Mentor. I am delighted to be in my first year at Oryx, teaching Year 4, and I am really enjoying being part of the school community.
Fun fact
Before pursuing a career in education, I worked as a financial analyst. I also love travelling and spent a summer working as an au pair in Barcelona.
