I originally qualified as a Landscape Architect in Manchester as it was a perfect blend of Art and Science and Humanities, all of which I love! I discovered my love for teaching whilst working on a project designing outdoor classrooms for schools, and decided to complete a PGCE.
I started my teaching career in the north of England, and have taught internationally in Barcelona, Bangkok and Doha.
I come from a very large family that originated in India and Kenya, so I have a very mixed background of cultures which I feel suits me well for teaching internationally.
My main interests are arts and crafts, I spend a lot of time practicing calligraphy and painting. Additionally I love reading, travelling and photography!
My aim at Oryx is to continue developing myself and my students as responsible and compassionate citizens of the world, and to really enjoy being part of the great community that Oryx International School is lucky to have.
