Qualifications
I hold a BA in Hispanic and Latin American Studies from the University of Liverpool, alongside a PGCE in Primary Education with Spanish specialism from Liverpool Hope University, through which I achieved Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I am currently applying for the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL).
Bio
I am an experienced Primary teacher with over ten years of teaching experience across the UK, Spain, Singapore and Qatar, working across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Throughout my career, I have held a range of middle leadership roles, including Primary Maths Lead, Head of Year and Student Voice Lead, and have been an active member of Primary Leadership Teams in previous schools.
I am currently the Primary Science Lead at Oryx International School, a role I am thoroughly enjoying. I am particularly passionate about developing children’s curiosity and helping them think scientifically through hands-on investigation, questioning and meaningful real-world links. Alongside this, I am proud to be the Year 2A Class Teacher and enjoy building strong relationships that support both academic progress and personal development.
Fun fact
I began my teaching career as a Spanish teacher, and outside of school I run a padel merchandise business, combining my love of sport, design and creativity.
