The Opportunity

This position is a local hire contract with no sponsorship offered.

The School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified Science Technician with effect from August 2021. You must have recent experience working as a Science Technician preferably in a school environment.

The Science Technician will work as a valued member of the Science department to provide technical support to the staff and students. The post would be suitable for an experienced Science Technician in an academic setting. The role is equally suited to highly experienced applicants that have had a career in Science and are now keen to support the Science education of young people or applicants with Science qualifications that are highly motivated and willing to learn new skills. The role will include the preparation, setting up and clearing away of equipment, materials and solutions as required by teaching staff to support Biology, Physics, and Chemistry lessons for students and to assist with the maintenance of a healthy and safe working environment.

Applicants must be fluent in spoken and written English and able to lead by example, possessing excellent IT, organisational and communication skills.

As an International school specialising in the British Curriculum to a diverse international student population, strong English language is an essential requirement and applications from native-level speakers of English will be preferred.
