Oryx International School are proud to announce that students in the first cohort of graduates achieved 100% pass rate in their A level results awarded by the UK examining authority, Pearson Edexcel for the 2021/2022 academic school year.
This is the first cohort of students from Oryx International School who have been presented for external qualifications in Year 13, and the first set to receive results outside of the Covid Centre Assessed Grades (CAGs).
100% of A level entries achieved the overall pass rate. Of these 51% of grades awarded were at grades A* - B and 81% at A*-C.
Several of our top performing students were awarded A*/A in every subject
Our Y13 students achieved 100% pass rate at BTEC Level 3 including 60% at Distinction and Merit.
Head of Secondary, Mr. Kenneth Haggarty, stated: “We are very proud of the dedication and hard work our students applied to their A Level studies over the past two years. Their achievements are well deserved, and we wish them every success in the future. “
Head of Sixth Form, Mr Chris Cundall added: “These wonderful results will enable our former students to follow their dreams at universities around the world and to forge meaningful and fulfilling careers in the years ahead.”
