The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Principal to join our Primary School team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in promoting high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment by implementing effective systems for tracking student attainment and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Learning: Responsible for supporting and developing the highest standards of Teaching & Learning within the primary school.
- Quality Assurance & Evaluation: Implement QA processes, conduct regular reviews, and ensure feedback is utilized for continuous development.
- Leadership & Support: Provide clear expectations and support to middle leaders and staff, fostering an environment of continuous improvement.
- CPD Management: Oversee the CPD budget and facilitate diverse professional development opportunities for all staff.
- Collaboration & Facilitation: Liaise with various stakeholders to introduce comprehensive programmes and facilitate regular training and mentoring sessions.
- Parent Engagement & Staff Development: Promote a cycle of training and facilitate parent engagement through workshops and meetings.
Qualifications:
- Relevant teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE)
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in an SLT/Middle leader role within a Primary School setting.
- Strong knowledge of assessment for learning (AfL) and student progress tracking systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents and lead by example.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Senior School Leader, to lead the school through the next period of exciting development. The role would ideally start from January 2024 onwards, although start dates later in the year will be considered dependent upon candidate availability.
