A-Level Results 2025
Graduating students from Oryx International School this year, 2025, have excelled themselves, achieving the school’s best-ever A Level grades as well as some highly-notable individual performances. These results, are testament to the school’s commitment to provide a 5-star education, as the official school of the Qatar Airways 5-star airline.
2025 saw Oryx's fourth cohort of A-Level students presented for external qualifications. Results were impressive, with 99.3% of A Level entries achieving the overall pass rate, while 38% were honoured with the grades A* to A. These results are truly exceptional and are a solid measure of academic excellence and standards imparted to students at Oryx International School.
Mr Laidlaw, Executive Principal, who departs the school this year, leaves this as his legacy and added "Our students work hard every single day, their professionalism and dedication is palpable and each and every one of you should take a moment to reflect and be extremely proud of everything you've accomplished. These results are the culmination of years of hard work and truly embed our school's global educational expertise. The calibre of our teachers is truly shown by these results and I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire teaching team for their dedication to imparting such educational excellence."

We are also delighted to share the overall pass rate for our Year 12 AS Level students was an impressive 92%.
This sets an exciting standard as they embark on their second year of Sixth Form studies in September 2025. We look forward to continuing to support each of you as you continue on your educational journeys.
The collective success of the cohort is also supported by some incredible individual successes of several students, who have achieved some remarkable grades. This includes some students who have also excelled themselves by entering their A Level exams one-year early!

International GCSE Results 2025
In the English National Curriculum, “Key Stage 4” (Academic years 10 & 11) is the culmination of all the previous years’ learning with formal I/GCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) examinations, taking place at the end of Year 11. The study path that student’s then go onto access in Year 12, the first year of Sixth Form, is defined by the student’s achievement in their I/GCSE Results, highlighting the importance of this phase of education.
Unlike Sixth Form exams, I/GCSE papers are graded with a numbering system from 9 to 0, with 9 being the highest-grade equivalent to an A*.
