The award is presented to schools who have produced Outstanding Pearson Learners.
The school were delighted to welcome the Senior Regional Development Manager for Pearson Edexcel, Mrs Ameena Soysa to Oryx to present these prestigious awards to Mr Laidlaw, Executive Principal and current Year 12 students and Year 13 students, for the examinations they sat in the Summer series of 2024.
The Pearson “Outstanding School Award” is a new award that the company have recently launched to honour those schools, showcasing excellence by producing students that achieve the “Outstanding Learner Awards”.
Receiving the award this year was a highlight for the school, to which Mr Laidlaw Executive Principal commented “I am truly honoured to receive this award on behalf of the school community. Our academic and examinations teams work so hard to support our students towards excellence, and this is a true honour to have their dedication recognised to this extent.”
