Our talented school band, Drive Thru, has once again demonstrated their musical excellence by winning the Rock Band Category at the COBIS Music Festival! This extraordinary achievement highlights their dedication, talent, and passion for music.
The COBIS Music Festival, held from February 7-9, 2025, included both an online competition and an in-person event. The in-person event took place at Hamilton International School and The Westin Hotel and brought together 251 students from 16 COBIS schools across seven countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Nigeria, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Students had the opportunity to perform in various solo and ensemble categories, showcasing their musical talent in front of an enthusiastic audience. One of the most exciting moments of the festival was the electrifying "Battle of the Bands" competition, where Drive Thru delivered a phenomenal performance that secured their well-deserved victory.

In addition to Drive Thru’s incredible success, we are also immensely proud of Pietra and Sebastian, who advanced to the final round in their respective categories; Solo Instrumental (Pietra) and Solo Vocals (Sebastian). Their dedication, effort, and extraordinary musical skills were evident in their outstanding performances, and we celebrate their remarkable achievements.
