Oryx International School proudly celebrated the graduation of its Year 12 and Year 13 students during a memorable ceremony held in the school's auditorium, marking the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance and achievement.
The event began with the Qatar National Anthem, followed by a Quran reading by Altamash Khan and a warm welcome address delivered by Mr Allen Bird, Executive Principal. Families, friends and members of the Oryx community gathered to honour the remarkable accomplishments of this year's graduates as they prepare to embark on exciting new chapters across universities and institutions around the world.
Adding a special touch to the celebration, students showcased their musical talents through a series of outstanding performances. Inside the auditorium, Ella-Kai Blanc performed Divenire by Ludovico Einaudi, while Shreeya Pradhan delighted the audience with a rendition of Long Live by Taylor Swift. The festivities continued in the school's Main Courtyard, where additional musical performances by Oryx students created a vibrant and joyful atmosphere, reflecting the creativity and spirit of the graduating cohort.
A highlight of the ceremony was the inspiring address delivered by our Guest Speaker, Mr Thabet Musleh, Chief Retail and Hospitality Officer at Qatar Airways. His words of encouragement, resilience and ambition resonated deeply with graduates and their families, reminding students to embrace opportunities with confidence and purpose as they step into the future.
The presentation of graduates was followed by heartfelt reflections from Head Girl Khadijah Rabbani and Head Boy Imani Quint, who spoke about the friendships, experiences and values that have shaped their time at Oryx International School.
Following the formal proceedings, graduates, families and staff came together for photographs and a celebratory buffet reception held in the school's reception area. It was a wonderful opportunity for the entire Oryx community to reconnect, share memories and celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2026.
As our graduates move forward to pursue higher education, professional pathways and new adventures around the globe, Oryx International School wishes them every success. We are immensely proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to witnessing the positive impact they will undoubtedly make in the years ahead.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. Once Oryx, Always Oryx.
