I was born and brought up in Mumbai, India. I studied at St. Teresa’s Convent High School, graduated from St. Andrew’s College and further went on to complete my Bachelor of Education (B. Ed). degree in English and History, from St. Teresa’s Institute of Education, Mumbai. A few years later, I earned a Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education from Vidhyanidhi Institute of Education in Mumbai. I have also completed Grade 8 in Music- Piano, from Trinity College of London.
I joined St. Joseph’s High School in Mumbai as a teacher for Year 5 and Year 9 where I taught English and History. I then joined the Aviation Industry where I worked with Aeroflot Russian Airlines as a Reservation Supervisor and thereafter for Qatar Airways in Mumbai as a Corporate Sales Support Agent. After moving to Doha, I joined an International School as a Primary Teaching Assistant where I worked for a year. Interacting with and teaching children has always been an extremely gratifying experience for me.
I relocated to Doha in 2012 to join my husband. Coming from a family with an Aviation Industry background and travelling globally at a young age, I have had the opportunity to experience the beauty and richness of diverse cultures around the world.
I enjoy playing the piano, singing, travelling as well as baking.
While working at the Oryx International school, I aim to continue to create a safe, secure, enriched and fun learning environment for children while being a team-player as well as a helpful colleague.
