Dear Parents
Winter is definitely here! Please ensure your child comes to school dressed in warm clothes. Children are able to wear black plain tracksuit trousers or black leggings to school on their PE days. School fleeces can be worn outside and school jumpers and cardigans in the classrooms.
We have been so proud of our younger students sharing their songs at Oryx celebrates. It has been lovely to see so many parents attending the celebrations and also the class assemblies.
Congratulations to all our children who have been learning stars this week this month. Our congratulations also go out to Mercury House who had their team day during January .
Congratulations to our sporting champions in primary that represented Oryx at the BISQ U13 games last weekend. We are all very proud of you. This month our children have also represented Oryx at the Football Festival ( Years 1&2) and Rounders against Doha College ( Years 5 & 6).
Music and singing has been high on the agenda this month, with our primary school pupils competing against secondary pupils in a school singing competition and also our primary House teams singing competition.
Projects

Oman Trip
We are delighted that this residential is going ahead. A parents’ meeting will be held on Sunday 2nd January for parents of children that are attending. Please check your Dojo message for more information.
