We are continuing to support students across the school who require extra interventions. The Inclusion Team is providing supplementary work each day to any child who receives SEND or EAL input. This work will be on top of the work provided by your child’s class teacher and is in line with individual targets that have been set for each student.

Once again, it is important to not overburden your child, so each task should last a maximum of 40 minutes. Once the 40 minutes is up the work should be sent back to the Inclusion Teacher for marking and feedback. Don’t worry if your child hasn’t fully completed the task, all we ask is that they try their best. All of the Inclusion Team are contactable if you have any questions or concerns. You can also contact me at michael.peacock@oryxschool.qa.

If your child has any worries, concerns or anxieties and would like to talk to someone at school please reiterate to them that they can contact our school counsellor, Miss Bunmi, at oluwabunmi.tobun@oryxschool.qa. She’s always available to listen and provide reassurance.
