Exceptional university offers for our A-level students
A level modular examination results were received earlier this month and our Year 12 and Year 13 students have banked some excellent results. These are particularly pertinent for Year 13 since they help to inform final University destinations.
Following January's A level modular examinations several students were awarded full marks, including Aroa (Spanish), Joshua (Business), Manahil (Business), Ayyash (Chemistry), Anaika (Biology), Aiman (Chemistry), Clark (French) and Olivia (History). Particular mention should also be made of Yago who was awarded full marks in three separate subjects (Chemistry, Pure Mathematics and Physics). Kelly was awarded full marks in Biology and her overall results has meant a series of University offers to study Biomedical Sciences at Imperial College London, University College London and the University of Bristol. Kelly is considering other offers before confirming whether to take up the opportunity to study at Imperial, UCL, Bristol or elsewhere.
The Class of 2022 are Oryx's first cohort of students to make the transition from school to tertiary education. University applications have been in process since September and excellent offers have, and are being received from Universities across the world. It is testament to our Year 13 student's application, work ethic and examination success that they are receiving offers from University College London, University of Toronto, University of Amsterdam, Imperial College London, University of Bristol, University of British Colombia and others.
