Bio
Hello, my name is Chetan and I am part of the Primary Middle Leadership Team with responsibility for Years 1–3 and Phonics. I began teaching in Lincolnshire, first at a local primary school and then at a larger one where I also became English Coordinator and Gifted and Talented Lead. Since joining Oryx in 2017, I have taught in Year 7 and across KS2 and KS1, progressing from class teacher to Year Group Leader before being appointed Phase Leader in 2024. Living in the Middle East has given me the chance to travel widely and during my time here my family has grown from two to four!
Fun fact
A fun fact about me is that my wife also teaches at Oryx. Outside of school I am an avid sports fan and I also enjoy reading.
