I was born in beautiful Cape Town and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. My family and I have been calling Qatar our home for the past few years. I am a loving mother to a son and two daughters. We are a proudly South African family who enjoy spending time together and being active outdoors.

I started my career and love for teaching in Early Childhood Education in South Africa where I taught for over three years. I then went on and taught abroad in an international school in the UAE for three years and returned to South Africa. I completed my Diploma in Early Years for the Early Years Educator. I am very passionate about teaching and have been inspired to complete my Master's in Education as well. For the last three years I have been teaching in Early Years as a FS2 teacher and Year Leader at another international school here in Doha.

I enjoy the outdoors and taking advantage of the warmer climate in Qatar, in particular the water sports it has to offer. Spending time on the open waters, riding my Jet Ski and camping in the desert are some of the things I enjoy doing in my free time. I like to follow world netball and rugby and take part in physical activities.

At Oryx, it is always my aim to provide a fun, secure and effective learning environment that allows young children in my care to develop into independent learners, to prepare them for the world of learning, all while having fun. I value seeing children in my class engaged and respected.
