Oryx International School is proud to announce its distinction as a "distinguished institution" by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) following the school and student's active participation in the inaugural "Ramadan in the Company of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad peace be upon him), His Ethics, and Qualities" campaign.

Throughout the holy month of Ramadan, our students from both Primary and Secondary school engaged daily in a series of challenges, competitions, and educational games, each designed to enrich their understanding of ethical values and virtues exemplified by the Messenger of Allah. The materials for these activities were thoughtfully provided by the Ministry's Curriculum Department, with Primary students accessing content via the Class Dojo platform, while Secondary students did so via email.

The campaign, which marks its first year of implementation in 2024, is set to become an annual event, reflecting the MoEHE's commitment to integrating cultural and religious values into educational settings. This initiative was led by Mr. Omar Al Namaa, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education and Higher Education, and Dr. Rania Mohamed, Director of the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens, to whom we extend our gratitude and thanks.

The enthusiastic participation of our students and the dedicated involvement of our school community throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan were key to achieving this honour. As a school, Oryx International School remains committed to participating in and supporting educational initiatives that promote moral and ethical learning, especially those that can teach our international student body about the values and ethics of Qatar and the Islamic culture.

This recognition not only highlights the excellence of our students and the strength of our educational programme,s but also strengthens our resolve to continue engaging in meaningful and impactful educational campaigns such as this.
