Bio
I am originally from Somalia and moved to the UK when I was six months old. I completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate studies at London Metropolitan University. Since graduating, I have had the privilege of working at Oryx International School, where I am proud to be part of such a wonderful and supportive community. Every day, I enjoy teaching and inspiring our amazing children, helping them grow and reach their full potential.
Fun fact
At the age of fifteen, I travelled back to Somalia and worked with the United Nations for six months as a translator. During this time, I supported humanitarian efforts in camps, helping translate for people injured during the civil war.
