Parent Teacher Student Consultations will take place from 26 to 30 March. We make the whole week available so everyone has the opportunity to meet the teacher. The timings are as follows:
- Monday from 1.30pm to 4pm
- Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday1.30pm to 3pm
- Thursday from 1.30pm to 2pm.
If you cannot make any of these times please discuss with your child's class teacher. There will be no ASAs during that week.
OryX Factor -This is a talent show and an opportunity for our students to show off their talents as individuals or as a group. They can sing, dance, play a musical instrument, do magic tricks or anything they are proud off.We will have auditions in school and will conclude with a final where we will choose which student has the OryXFactor.
Art Festival - During Term 3, we are focusing on art and the different forms of art. This will conclude with our first Oryx Art Exhibition that you will be invited to view. If any of you are artists and would like to come into school to run a workshop for the students please let us know. Also, if you would like to contribute to the exhibition, we can have a special adult artist section.
Food - Please ensure your child has adequate food to sustain them throughout the day. This includes 2 snacks for early, late break and for after school activities if applicable.
Swimming Gala - Our first Oryx Swimming Gala will take place on 4 April at the Oryx Rotana from 8:00am to 11:00am. You are all welcome and encouraged to attend and refreshments will be available for purchase.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up -Please note that Pick-Up is at 1.30pm unless your child is attending an ASA, Pick-Up will then be at 2.30pm. Some students have been waiting for as long as an hour and this is too long for them.If you have made special arrangements with us, then that still holds.
I hope you have a great weekend with your family and I would like to wish you all a happy special happy St Patrick's Day for tomorrow.
