"I would like to thank the school for helping build Zoey's confidence and providing such an encouraging environment for our kids. Her journey towards building that self-confidence began with Oryx, we enrolled for academics and curriculum but what we got is much more … we now have a child who has this boundless zest for life and most importantly not afraid to face her fears." - Year 3 parent

About our PTA: "It was a very enjoyable meeting this morning and great to have so many positive ideas! I look forward to being involved and meeting up with more parents." - Year 1 parent

"Dear Sir, I know that teaching can sometimes be thankless job, and you only hear about the faults in the education system. But I feel the good should also be recognised. Jude loves school, and from visiting his class on Thursday it is easy to see why. We hear all about the dynamic way you deliver lessons and encourage participation, and that was evident then. So thank you." - Year 6, Samantha Gallagher-Alagha”

"My Son, Shriyans Mondal, a student of Year 2 in your school is enjoying to the maximum the way in which education is being imparted in the school. He is showing a great level of interest in the homework activities because of the interactive nature. I have noticed extreme interest in him for going to school. We take this opportunity to thank and appreciate the guidance and nurturing provided in your school." - Year 2, Rahul Mondal

"It is a new school year and my daughter is always excited to come to school which shows that she is having an enjoyable and excellent time every single day. Oryx has After School Activities which my daughter is looking forward to. It will surely help the students to be more productive and improve not only academically but more socially just like the previous year. During the summer vacation, I was able to see how my daughter improved her swimming skills and I am very much happy and I can't wait for the swimming lesson to start again. It will surely make the student physically fit, confident and most importantly safe in the water. Our school family just keeps on growing and growing, with more teachers and students joining, which makes us more proud and happy. What I love most about Oryx is the "communication" may it be thru emails, Dojos, coffee meetings, home books, phone calls, open door classroom.. Oryx is so easy to get in touch with. I believe this is one of the school's strength apart of course from the excellent quality of teaching and curriculum." - Chelle Zaguirre, Marthena Year 1CD

"Security personnel are always alert and observant on procedures at all times. Class rooms and hallways are well lit, ventilated (air-conditioned) and clean. My child has shown enthusiasm when going to school, with a presumption of a good learning environment around her. My child has developed more self-confidence after a few weeks of school. School admin personnel are attentive and helpful." - Mr. Jon Astillero

" It was with great joy that we started another school year at Oryx International School. We had a great experience last year and we were able to see how our kids evolved so much in such a short time. You are a fantastic team, management, teachers, assistants, clerks, security guards ... all work towards quality teaching with a lot of commitment and dedication. As parents, we always want the best for our children. And choosing Oryx School is a reflection of the quality we want for the future of our children. We feel that more than one school, Oryx International School is a community that makes us grow in every way. And it is definitely complementing the education of our children with the best possible values. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your work and a special word for the principal, who is an incredible human being: an example to all principals." - Ana and Pedro. Mariana - Year 6 and Manuel - Year 1

"We would like to give our positive feedback on Oryx International School and Team. It was a challenging period for Riccardo who moved from another school in Doha to Oryx last year, mostly because of change and missing his school friends. However, thanks to all of you everything went smoothly and he settled perfectly and happily. Special thanks go to his class teachers for their understanding of Riccardo’s needs, guidance and positive approach to teaching. We love the friendly environment of Oryx School. Well done and keep it up! - Gabriele & Laura Ferola, Gabriele Ferola - Year 5

"I would say I faced only positive things from the 1st day stepped into OIS, starting with the front office, admissions and the teaching staff. Of course the Principal's welcome speech was inspirational and Informative for a parent like me who just started sending the kid to British curriculum. From the first day I noticed changes in my child's behaviour as she is keeping her dishes back to kitchen after lunch and helping her mom to clear the dining table. We both were really surprised. that the class teacher is such a wonderful person who gives us immediate feedback and take care of the children nicely! Keep the good works going and wish OIS Good luck." - Aslah Ahamed Year 1

"I Just want to say everything is good and really I want to appreciate all the teachers which is work in the school for the nice communication with and the good teaching to Naema and Mustafa it is really perfect." - Ali Sidek

"I would like to make a brief comment on Oryx International School. The Oryx International School is made up of professional staff / teachers who have a keen interest in the development of the children. Oryx International School has within a short time brought out some qualities in my ward which hitherto were not exposed. Until her admission to Oryx International School, I thought and knew she was good but her current state and progress tells me she is far better now and each day comes with new good signs. All credit to Oryx International School." - James Hormeku

"I want to express my complete satisfaction for the management, administration and teaching personnel, concerning the start of this school year. My children, Marina-Stella Y5 and Stavros-Gerasimos Y3, received full support from their teachers, in order to adapt as fast as possible to their new school. Furthermore, I want to point out the excellent cooperation that I have with both teachers, for the ethical and academical improvement of my children. According to our deep tradition in Greece, the teacher is considered a second parent. Being the first year for us in Oryx International School, I received a lot of help from admissions about the needed documents and the procedure that I had to follow for successful transferring. So far, I strongly believe the dissension to join Oryx International School will be the most beneficial for my children." - Ilias Korsanos

"I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the progress our daughter has made over the past year at the Oryx School. Our daughter Louisa is now starting her second year (grade 2) at Oryx School. As parents we couldn't be happier with the progress she has shown. In the beginning of her first year at Oryx we as parents were nervous about a new school that was just opening and now our fears have been laid to rest. Louisa loves the School and loves her teachers. We, as parents, believe this is due to environment and attitude shown by the school and all of its staff. Under the guidance of the principal we see that environment and attitude has been set in place for all the students to learn and grow into a world of excitement." - Mr. and Mrs. McQuiston

"It was such a great start for my 2 kids, Cham (Y1) and Noureldin (Y3), in Oryx school this year. They really like the new environment. Everything is just perfect so far. The team you have is one of the best, starting from the principal to the teachers and admin team. I like the daily update the teachers provide the parents that they know what their children are studying and they can discuss back home. The payment facilities your finance team provide is also great and appreciated." - Mahmoud Al-Sabbagh

"As the parents of Zakaria (3NMG) and Melina (2EA), here is some positive points that we want to share with you: - Organisation and discipline within the school, especially during home time - Very friendly and effective staff, always attentive to the children and parents needs. - Great and effective communication means established between parents-teachers, parents-administration. - We feel our kids very safe in this school (bullying)." - Mr & Mrs SAAID.

"Kaelyn has been in Oryx International since Sept 2016, Year 2. Her teacher has been a friend and mentor to her during the transition period. The friendly and approachable environment has a positive impact on both parents as well as children studying at Oryx International. Discipline is instilled by creative methods of point system which enables the child to grow and learn right from wrong. Class Dojo assists parents to communicate effectively on daily activities taking place in class, which is just a wonderful tool to create a personal bond. The number of children per class allows the teachers to focus on a one on one level giving enough attention to all. The administrative team and the principal are hands on with the daily operations and always making the extra effort to go above and beyond their duties, that makes life for us as parents extremely stress free. An all round development of a child plays an important part in molding character for the future generations to come. This is achieved not only by books and academics but also after school activities (ASA) to enhance creative learning for the mind and body. A safe environment is important for the children and this is achieved from the moment we enter the school premises joyfully greeted by the always polite and well mannered security staff. We are thankful that Qatar Airways has given us the opportunity to be part of Oryx International school." - Mirron Unwalla

"First of all, let me thank you for making my children’s school life easier and fun while learning. So far it has been positive and both my kids love coming to school every morning. I would also like to commend the activities and curriculum designed, in such a way that these are arranged in a sequence to make the learning subject easier for the kids. In addition, the constant communication of the teachers to the parents are commendable through the Class Dojo. This tool has assists us, as parents, to see our child’s daily activities in school as well as to regularly communicate with their teachers." - Lydia A. Daguisonan, Gabrielle Daguisonan, Year 5 OC and Jonathan Daguisonan, Year 1 CD

"For Zoey it has been a fantastic experience, she moved from dreading school and feeling demotivated to loving it. We moved from a different curriculum and I found it a little difficult to digest that there were no books and no homework on a daily basis. I began to enquire with Zoey what she did at school every day. She always said: "We had fun today, we did exciting things and we danced and played." The best part was she never felt she was studying, she thought of it as something she was learning while enjoying herself. She has now developed a love for books and is constantly reading or writing on her own. Schooling has become a happy and rewarding experience for both of us. The atmosphere at the school is such a warm and friendly one. It sure feels like “Home" and I can sense that’s exactly what Zoey feels too." - Year 1 parent.

"I am Jessica’s father. We feel very happy to see her progress in this outstanding school curriculum and extra-curricular activities." - Year 1 parent

About our PTA: "It was a very enjoyable meeting this morning and great to have so many positive ideas! I look forward to being involved and meeting up with more parents." - Year 1 parent
